You will exclusively attend a school accredited by IALC, the International Association of Language Centres.

Certificate of Attendance: Awarded by the schools you attend upon successfully completing your Taith experience.

AFS Global Competence Certificate: This certificate validates your enhanced intercultural skills. Earn it through the Global Up Abroad © Programme (also funded). This comprehensive online course includes live sessions before, during, and after your experience, providing a blended learning approach to enrich your knowledge.

What's the Role of Celtic English Academy?

Celtic English Academy has been a strategic partner of Taith since 2022. As a leader in international student mobility and the largest independent school of English language in Wales, we provide essential support to help students apply and make the most of their experience.

What’s not covered in the funding?

This is an expense-free opportunity. So, everything you need to travel and study will be covered by the programme.

Only personal expenses won’t be covered, such as gifts, souvenirs, and any other personal purchases you might choose to make during your journey.

What’s the Certificate of Attendance?

Upon completing your Taith experience, you’ll receive a Certificate of Attendance. Showcase it on your CV, resume, and LinkedIn to enhance your personal and professional profile.

The AFS Global Up Abroad programme nurtures learners’ global competence before, during, and after their international experiences. Delivered through 18 online modules, guided by a trained Qualified Facilitator, this curriculum empowers learners to enhance their understanding of the world. Participants engage in reflection, live dialogue sessions, peer forums, and leverage their experiences to bring intercultural theories to life. Upon completion, learners possess invaluable skills and strategies, enabling them to bridge differences effectively, both in a new environment and upon their return home. Developed by AFS Intercultural Programs, one of the leading organisations in student exchange programmes, this transformative experience is fully funded.
