An unforgettable experience for Young Learners at our main centre in Cardiff.
Our Junior Winter Programme combines a varied social programme with engaging English lessons so that our younger learners and teens will experience a real Welsh Winter they’ll never forget in one of the top ten places in the world to visit.

Engaging English Lessons
We have carefully designed our Young Learner Course. In their lessons, our young learners will take part in communicative activities which are presented through interesting topics. These topics are suitable for younger learners and teenagers. By the end of their course, younger learners should have:
The ability to speak with improved accuracy and pronunciation
Improved levels of fluency and confidence
An extended range of vocabulary and grammar
Improved speaking, reading, listening and writing skills and
A better understanding of English-speaking cultures.
Super Social Activities
The excursions and activities available mean that our young learners and teens will have lots of opportunities to meet the other young learners on the programme. Our friendly and helpful staff make sure that our young learners are well looked after.
Our social programme offers lots of different activities, such as:
Enjoyable and informative visits to towns and cities such as Oxford and the Brecon Beacons National Park so that our young learners can discover some of the best sites in the UK. There will also be trips to local places of interest so that our young learners can learn more about the history and culture of Wales.
A good range of sports activities so that our young learners can keep fit and exercise. These include bowling and football.

Living in homestay accommodation offers a unique experience and is one of the best ways to practice English outside the classroom. Our friendly and welcoming homestay providers are all carefully selected by our team to ensure that our younger learners are cared for.

We take extra care of under 18s while they study English with us overseas.
We take care of all our students, but we take extra care of our younger students. Our staff understand that it may be their first time abroad to study English in another country. Parents and guardians can be reassured that we genuinely care about our students’ safety and well-being. Celtic is, after all, one big family. We have dedicated safeguarding officers to ensure we look after our under 18 students.
Here are some of the things we do to ensure the safety and well-being of our under 18 students:
All our staff receive training to work with under 18s.
It is compulsory for all under 18 students to book an airport transfer with us. One of our drivers will meet under 18s at the airport terminal upon arrival to safely bring them to Cardiff.
In Cardiff, all under 18 students have to stay with a local homestay provider.
We DBS and/ or police check all our staff.
We DBS check all of our homestay providers who provide homestay accommodation for under 18 students.
Our emergency number means that under 18 can contact a member of the team 24 hours a day.
We have enhanced attendance reporting procedures for under 18 students.
We have trained first-aiders who can deal with any emergencies.
