This week’s student voice is that of Kyunghee from South Korea.

27th May 2016

Student Voice is a weekly glance into the experiences of students from all over the world who have studied with us at Celtic English Academy, here in Cardiff.

These testimonials are a first-hand reflection of the impressions left on each student from their time at our academy in the capital city of Wales.

At Celtic English Academy we value our students’ feedback and their opinions, always using them to refine and improve the experiences of our future students.

Here is what Kyunghee had to say about her experience.

  • Name: Kyunghee
  • Age: 21
  • Nationality: South Korean
  • Duration at the Celtic English Academy: 24 weeks
  • Accommodation: Residence

‘On the first day I came to Cardiff, I was having a hard time finding my way to Celtic. But soon I was helped by a woman who was very kind. This incident has made my first impressions about Cardiff very positive which last until now. As well, I think most people in Cardiff are really gorgeous.

For school trips and class trips, I like going somewhere with my friends also the price of the trip offered by the school is quite reasonable.

I wont forget what I felt on my first day at Celtic, I was nervous but a little bit excited.

Before I came to Cardiff I didn’t know about St David’s Day and Bank Holiday but now I know that day.

Celtic is my first English Academy. I recommend Celtic for mainly two reasons. The teachers are professional and the quality of class meets a high standard. Everything is awesome’.
