While you are studying English in Cardiff, you will naturally want to take some time to explore the local area and make the most of your time in the United Kingdom. So what is there to do near The Celtic School?
Cardiff Castle, the Millenium Stadium and the shopping centres are all very close to the school, but with the cheap public transport there are a vast range of activities to enjoy. Whether you want to go abseiling, check out the new Doctor Who Experience, watch some football (the Olympic football matches are on in Cardiff at the moment), or go to the theatre, Cardiff can entertain you.
When it comes to sport, there isn’t much you can’t do in Cardiff. There is even an Olympic standard canoe slalom; watching or playing, you will be spoiled for choice. If you prefer to see some historic houses there is Cardiff Castle, Castell Coch and Caerphilly Castel to choose from, as well as the Roman town of Caerleon nearby with the National Roman Legion Museum.
If the arts are more your thing, there are theatres, galleries and museums to choose from, as well as variety of live music venues. Opera or ballet at the theatre, or a gig at your local pub, it’s all here.
