Meet our new University Counsellor Darren

Darren is one of Celtic English Academy’s teachers who has recently been promoted to University Counsellor and Business Development Manager.

Darren will be available to meet with students every day in the office, for personal appointments to help students looking to go on to higher education in the UK. Darren will also be working more and more closely with UK universities to create stronger links with universities our students already go onto and to create new partnerships across the UK.

Meet Darren…

“I’m 31 years old with a background in marketing and recruitment following my six years living in Bristol representing a number of educational institutions.

I have taught both English & History in my five years as a teacher and l have taught in a range of academic areas from international schools, to colleges and universities. I have also worked in curriculum management and syllabus design as well as contributing to a number of self assessment programmes during my time teaching at university level.

I have taught in Bulgaria, China, Saudi Arabia and Oman and have enjoyed returning to the UK to apply my expertise to Celtic. I have an MA in history and political theory and thoroughly enjoy establishing new business partnerships and working for the mutual benefit of Celtic and its agents.”

The University Counsellor service is FREE to all current and incoming students at Celtic English Academy that are looking to pursue an undergraduate or post-graduate course in the UK. Where would you like to study after your English course?
