✅ Do you have a spare bedroom? ✅Want to earn an extra income, whilst learning about new cultures and languages from around the world? Why not become a homestay provider?
Our Junior students are arriving for short stays of between 1 and 4 weeks in June, July and August. In return for hosting, families will receive upwards of £125 a week per student, plus the benefit of experiencing another culture without leaving the home!
The junior international students will be staying in Cardiff for between 1 – 4 weeks and families can host two junior students per room (that’s £480+ for two weeks!). Families with more than one room available can host up to 4 students in one house.
What is expected from the homestay host?
Families must be friendly and welcoming and need to provide a single or twin room for the students, plus breakfast, packed lunch and dinner each day.
Families must also have a valid gas safety certificate for their home and be willing to apply for a Household DBS certificate (which we will help you with).
So, if you can offer a welcoming atmosphere and have a spare room available this summer, along with an interest in exchanging cultures with a Junior international student, we would love to hear from you!
