What do French students think about studying English in Cardiff?

We asked Amandine (from Paris) and Ettore, Jean-Cassien, and Alban (from Marseille) about their experience studying at Celtic English Academy. They shared their thoughts on living and interacting with the people of Cardiff and how people reacted to their French accents.

They also talked about what it was like to meet students from different countries and cultures.

The students commented on the friendliness of the people in the UK and their experiences with the welcoming locals in shops and other places. They even had the chance to play football with Welsh locals… (and they have an opinion on who’s best!)

The students also highlighted the passion of the Celtic teachers for teaching English and sharing their experiences with international students. They discussed how their understanding of the language changed and the main advantages of studying abroad versus studying in their home country.
