Cardiff iPhone App!

If you own an iPhone and want to get to know the city you will be staying in while you study English abroad in the UK, Cardiff has its very own app! Download it and you will be able to find out what’s going on, where to eat and where to shop. What’s more, you will be able to practice reading English at the same time!

Functioning as an interactive guide to Cardiff and the surrounding area, the app not only allows you to search for things to do, it will also help you get there by linking to your device’s GPS map function. You can search by type of event, or by date to find a wide variety of gigs, festivals and sports events.

You can also use the app to find the shop you are looking for, whether it is a favourite high street brand, a designer label or a vintage boutique. When you have finished shopping, you can find a restaurant, cafe or bar to eat and unwind in. Everything is accompanied with high resolution images, and features useful information such as opening times and prices.
