Cardiff Harbour Festival

If your visit to our English language school in Cardiff means you will be here over the bank holiday weekend at the end of August (31/08 – 02/09) and you are looking for something to do, check out the Cardiff Harbour Festival over at Cardiff Bay.

A free event (always a winner among students!), with a variety of free activities on offer, this is usually a lot of fun. This year, as well as the Tall Ships and a continental market full of delicious foods, The British Fish Craft Championships will be back for the fourth year. This involves a series of talks and demonstrations, as well as a competition of precision skills for top fishmongers.

More excitingly, this year for the first time the event will include the Extreme Sailing competition. This is an international competition and gives you a chance to watch as the professionals sail their boats at speed close to the spectator stands!
