We welcome students from 16 to 60+ to learn English on any of our adult courses. We have over 40 different nationalities studying with us every year and small class sizes of a maximum of just 10 students per class. Courses eligibles for government funding
We provide courses which are eligible for government funding e.g. Erasmus+, PON, Bildungsurlaub and CPF.
Since 2014, the new Erasmus+ replaces seven existing funding programmes including: Lifelong Learning Programme (Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius and Grundtvig), Youth in Action, Erasmus Mundus, Tempus and Alfa Edulink Programme for cooperation with industrialised countries.
Under the Erasmus+ criteria, teaching professionals are eligible to receive funding for the following course at Celtic English Academy:

How to apply:
You have to apply for Erasmus+ funding through your school, organisation, training institute or university. You cannot apply individually.
Application forms are found on the Erasmus+ Website.
When completing the application form, please remember to justify your application by using the Key Action 1 criteria, set out in the Erasmus+ Programme Guide (p31-34). This will make a strong application and increase your likelihood of obtaining funding.
Before you make the application, you will have to register your school on the European portal.

Teacher Refresher Programme (2 weeks)
The International School Linking Department of Cardiff Council, in partnership with Celtic English Academy, proposes a 2-week programme for overseas primary or secondary school teachers. Teachers will be able to experience the British school system, improve their own English and learn a range of techniques to deliver English in their own classroom.
