Celtic knows that when you find yourself living abroad in a new country, safety and care are of great importance. We will do everything we can to make your experience in the UK safe and positive.

Safety and Care

We have a duty of care towards all of our students. Many of our staff have spent time living or working overseas. We know how daunting an experience it can be and the difference it can make to simply have that person who looks out for you.

Our support staff are on hand from 08:00 – 18:00, Monday to Friday, as well as on our emergency phone line 24 hours, 7 days a week, should there be an urgent need for you to speak to one of the Celtic team.

You can always come and see us outside class times, whatever your problem or concern may be. Our office doors are always open and reception will welcome you from your first morning on enrolment day to your last day when you receive your certificate.

Under 18s

We are there for all of our students, but we take extra care of younger students. We know that it may be their first time abroad. We have a designated Safeguarding Officer (Jenna Farmer, Operations Manager), who takes care of our under 18s, and all our staff are trained to work with under 18s as well as having all passed thorough Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) police checks.

We also have many measures in place for young learner group stays.  It is compulsory for our junior students to book an airport transfer with Celtic so that one of our drivers will meet you at the airport terminal upon arrival to safely bring you to Celtic.

Parents and guardians can be reassured that at Celtic English Academy we genuinely care about our students’ safety and wellbeing as though they are a part of our own family. Celtic is, after all, one big family!

Our Commitment

We are committed to our students and at Celtic we care about our students even before their arrival and after their departure. Our Celtic Online portal is available to students 1 month prior to their arrival at Celtic English Academy so that you can begin to embark on your Individual Learning Plan and connect with other students. You can also access Celtic Online up to 3 months after leaving the academy, enabling you to continue learning and improving your English once you return to your home country.

At Celtic English Academy we are focused on the continuous circle of commitment to our students. We are committed to our students from the moment you enquire and place a booking with us, or give us your homestay preferences, to the day that you fly home. We are even committed to offering the same quality service when you or your brother, sister or friend returns to study with us months or years later.

We care about our students’ futures as English language speakers. We understand that our students have invested a lot of time and money in coming to study at our academy in Cardiff. That is why our teachers, management and student services support staff do all they can to facilitate the most beneficial and enjoyable English language learning experience possible for each and every student that walks through our doors.
